Congratulations to our PYP5 students, who this week marked the completion of their Primary Years Programme journey. It has been a year of real depth and genuine challenge, and they have risen to it with maturity, creativity, and heart.

A heartfelt thank you to Ms Andrea Meneghello and Ms Francesca Rigon, who have supported and inspired this group every step of the way alongside our specialist teachers Ms Silvia Bertinato, Mr Dimitri Lago, Mr Filippo Rinaldi, Ms Davide Gusatto, Ms Noelia Fernandez e Ms Vanessa De Macedo. Your dedication to these students – as learners and as people – has made a lasting difference.

Thanks also to Ms Stefania Pasquali and Ms Asli Celik for their leadership of the PYP throughout the year.

MYP awaits: and we cannot wait to see what you do with it.

A huge congratulations to each and every one of them: for their curiosity, their laughter, and the courage it takes to show up and learn something new every day. Ms Ashley Ward and Ms Ana Casapu have created a warm, nurturing space where every child has felt safe to grow, explore, and shine.

Reception class…. YOU ROCK!

Visitors had the opportunity to engage with students’ explanations, ask questions, and gain insight into the critical thinking that underpins the TOK course. The exhibition highlighted students’ ability to reflect on the nature of knowledge, evaluate different viewpoints, and make meaningful connections between academic learning and everyday life.

The event was a valuable opportunity for the wider school community to see DP1 students’ progress and to experience the inquiry, reflection, and discussion that are central to the IB Diploma Programme.

Congratulations to all DP1 students for their thoughtful and engaging presentations!

Colour, music, and good conversation set the tone for a joyful afternoon. Students explored interactive stations with colours and bracelets, discovered LGBTQ+ cultural and pop icons, and had the chance to sign an Ally pledge – a simple but meaningful commitment to stand by others and make our school a place where everyone feels seen.

By the end of the day, 52 students and 10 members of staff had signed the pledge.

No prior knowledge was required, and none was expected. This was simply a day about curiosity, kindness, and the belief that every person deserves to belong – values that connect naturally to who we are as an IB community and as an international school.

A warm thank you to the student volunteers who made it happen, and to the PTA for their support.

We sincerely thank all parents who participated in the election process and those who put themselves forward as candidates. Your involvement and support are invaluable in helping strengthen our school community.

Congratulations once again to Mieke, Fong, and Chiara, and thank you to everyone who took part in this important process.

On June Wednesday 17th, the IT team will be collecting devices from MYP1 to MYP5 students as part of the migration from our current system to the new NAE device management system.

As this process will take some time, students will not keep their devices over the summer. They will receive their updated devices back at the beginning of the new school year. 

Students are kindly asked to bring both their laptop /iPad and charger to school on that day.
If your child leaves school before that date, please ensure that the device is returned to the school office before leaving.

Regarding summer homework, teachers will provide tasks in a format that can be completed without the use of a device.

We are delighted to invite you to your children’s end of year diploma ceremony which will take place on:

• Wednesday June 17th at 9:30 –  in the Early Years garden and gym hall

We would like to recognise everything that they have achieved and allow families, students and teachers a moment to come together and celebrate their successful graduation. 

The ceremony will last about 30 mins and a buffet and light refreshments will be made available once the event has concluded. On this special occasion the children should come to school wearing elegant attire. The invitation is extended to all family members and the school will make sure that siblings attending our school are present as well.

Please be advised students must arrive at their normal scheduled time in order to prepare for the ceremony. If you would like to pick up your child after the ceremony, please inform the school office.

Lastly, for this special occasion, parking is allowed at the school.
