For the Swimming Lessons, parents are invited to reach Piscina Patronato at 16:45 to help the kids dress up in the changing rooms.

We are excited to introduce some wonderful new additions to our school community this year.

Segovia Mariel Abigail joins our PYP Language Support Team with a degree in Languages and Cultural Mediation and a genuine passion for languages and intercultural communication.

Sofia Cestonaro also joins the PYP Language Support Team, bringing a background in Cognitive Neuroscience and Clinical Neuropsychology. Her strong communication skills, ability to manage group dynamics, and attentiveness to individual needs make her a fantastic addition to our team. Sofia will also be working as a Support Teacher.

We are thrilled to have them both on board.

We are also pleased to welcome three interns who will be supporting different areas of the school over the coming weeks.

Erica Fantin, from Ca’ Foscari University in Venice, will be working alongside our Spanish and Italian Language Acquisition teams.

Sophia Lozano Solis will be joining the School Office as part of her Erasmus+ and Eurocultura, supporting our administrative team with day-to-day activities.

Carolina Mejía, originally from Colombia, is currently completing a master’s degree in Applied Child and Adolescent Psychology at the University of Padua. With a background in psychology and previous experience working with children and young people, Carolina will be supporting our Inclusion Department during her time with us.

Vivenda’s approach to school dining goes well beyond the plate. Menus are designed by nutrition professionals using fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced ingredients, with a focus on balance, variety, and age-appropriate nutritional needs. Each day of the week has its own theme, from Multiethnic Tuesday to International Thursday and Low Environmental Friday, weaving food education, cultural curiosity, and sustainability into the daily rhythm of school life.

We also welcome a new addition to our beloved canteen staff: Chef Selenia!
Selenia brings hands-on experience from the international school environment and a genuine passion for quality.

We are also excited to share that the canteen space itself will be going through a make-over during the school year, to create an environment that feels even more in tune with the spirit of H-FARM International School Vicenza. More on that to come.

Here is a look at everything that is new.

Outdoor Spaces

The outdoor areas have had a real refresh this summer. Students will find a new relaxation and picnic area to unwind during breaks, a new and even safer paving around the football pitch, and a brand new climbing structure for our PYP learners. Two new foursquare stations have also been added, along with a new wooden play castle for our Early Years community in our back garden.

Quantum Lab

Our Quantum Lab is here!

What used to be known as the STEAM Lab now features two new 3D printers, a professional laser cutter, mechanical arms, and a production chain; tools that bring design thinking and hands-on making to a whole new level. Whether building, prototyping, or experimenting, students will have everything they need to turn ideas into reality.

Sports Facilities

The gym has also seen some important upgrades: a new female changing room, a dedicated storage area, and a brand new professional-grade volleyball net.

Welcome to another exciting year in the IB Diploma Programme. Whether you are continuing your DP journey or joining our community for the first time, we are delighted to welcome you and look forward to working together throughout the year ahead. 

The start of a new academic year brings fresh opportunities, new challenges and the chance for every student to grow academically and personally. The Diploma Programme encourages students to become inquisitive, reflective and resilient learners, developing the knowledge, skills and international-mindedness needed for success at university and beyond. 

As we begin the 2026-27 school year, we do so from a position of strength.

We are incredibly proud of last year’s Diploma Programme results, with our students achieving a 100% pass rate and an average score of 31.89 points, more than a full point above the global IB average.

These outcomes reflect the hard work and dedication of our students and teachers as well as the invaluable support provided by our families. We thank our entire community for their contribution to this achievement and look forward to building on this success on the 2026/27 school year. 

Beyond academic achievement, we remain committed to providing a rich and balanced educational experience. Through opportunities provided by CAS, the Extended Essay and Theory of Knowledge, as well as well as those on offer through our wider Nord Anglia collaborations, students will continue to develop as well-rounded individuals who are prepared to make a positive contribution to the world around them.

Last year, we were delighted to receive excellent feedback from the IB Evaluation Team, who recognised, among many strengths, our broad and balanced curriculum and our strong commitment to inclusion. This year, we look forward to building on these successes and strengthening our connections with the wider Nord Anglia community. Through opportunities such as expeditions and Global Campus, our students will have even more opportunities to broaden their horizons, develop new skills and learn beyond the classroom.

Dear Students, Families, and Colleagues, 

As we begin this new school year, I want to welcome you all and share my excitement for the journey ahead. 

Last year marked the beginning of our integration into Nord Anglia Education, a process that, for the most part, unfolded behind the scenes as we laid the groundwork for what comes next.  

This year, that work becomes visible: our international IB school steps more fully into a global network, opening new opportunities for our students to connect, collaborate, and learn alongside schools and educators around the world: from MIT Challenges to international expeditions, our students will have access to experiences that extend learning well beyond our classrooms. Our identity and our commitment to every individual student remain unchanged, what grows is our reach. 

Growing together is the thread that runs through this new chapter: our students grow, our faculty grows, our school grows, and with it grows our ability to offer an education that is ever more connected to the world, without ever losing the human, community-centered spirit that defines us.

Congratulations to our PYP5 students, who this week marked the completion of their Primary Years Programme journey. It has been a year of real depth and genuine challenge, and they have risen to it with maturity, creativity, and heart.

A heartfelt thank you to Ms Andrea Meneghello and Ms Francesca Rigon, who have supported and inspired this group every step of the way alongside our specialist teachers Ms Silvia Bertinato, Mr Dimitri Lago, Mr Filippo Rinaldi, Ms Davide Gusatto, Ms Noelia Fernandez e Ms Vanessa De Macedo. Your dedication to these students – as learners and as people – has made a lasting difference.
