We are pleased to share an exciting opportunity for our secondary students to take part in the Canadian Team Mathematics Contest (CTMC), a stimulating and enjoyable team-based mathematics competition for students in Grades 9 to 12.
The CTMC is organised by the Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing (CEMC) at the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada. The competition brings together teams of six students, who work collaboratively through a range of individual, team, and relay-style mathematical challenges. These activities are designed to develop problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and teamwork in a motivating and supportive environment.
This year, the competition will be hosted in Italy by the Canadian School of Milan on 14 April.
It is a wonderful opportunity for students to challenge themselves mathematically, meet like-minded peers, and enjoy being part of a wider community of students with a strong interest in mathematics.
The students will be setting off from the Vicenza train station at 7.34am and will be back to school at 18.25.
Meeting point at 7.15 in front of the train station.
They will be accompanied by Mr Garcia and Ms Lorenzato
The lunch is provided by the Canadian school of Milan.
The cost of the trip is €35.
