On Tuesday, February 11th<\/strong>, our school will participate in Safer Internet Day 2025, joining schools and youth organizations worldwide to promote safe and responsible internet use. Throughout the week, Middle and High School students will engage in age-appropriate lessons on digital citizenship and AI literacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Middle School students will learn about digital citizenship and AI literacy, test their knowledge on scams and phishing through a quiz, and complete interactive modules from Cornell University\u2019s Social Media TestDrive program. These modules cover key topics such as privacy settings, digital footprints, and responding to cyberbullying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n High School students will explore Artificial Intelligence literacy, watching a video that introduces key components: Awareness, Capability, Knowledge, Critical Thinking, and their importance in today\u2019s world. They will also complete interactive modules from Cornell University\u2019s Social Media TestDrive program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Safer Internet Day is celebrated in approximately 170 countries, encouraging young people, parents, and educators to create a safer and more positive online environment. This year\u2019s theme, \u201cTogether for a Better Internet<\/strong>,\u201d highlights the importance of collective action in creating an internet that is safe, inclusive, and empowering for all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Online safety is an essential part of our school\u2019s curriculum, and we encourage you to continue these conversations at home.
