{"id":19361,"date":"2026-05-08T12:51:47","date_gmt":"2026-05-08T12:51:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.schoolnewsvicenza.h-farm.com\/?p=19361"},"modified":"2026-05-08T12:54:21","modified_gmt":"2026-05-08T12:54:21","slug":"may-22-and-23-teens-in-stem-2026-two-days-of-science-innovation-and-inspiration","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.schoolnewsvicenza.h-farm.com\/it\/may-22-and-23-teens-in-stem-2026-two-days-of-science-innovation-and-inspiration\/","title":{"rendered":"May 22 and 23 &#8211; Teens in STEM 2026: Two Days of Science, Innovation and Inspiration"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We are excited to share with our students and families an incredible opportunity organised by <a>H-FARM International School<\/a>: the second edition of <strong>Teens in STEM<\/strong>, a free event dedicated to students aged <strong>10 to 14<\/strong> \u2014 therefore open to students in <strong>PYP5 and MYP1-2-3<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event will take place at <strong>H-FARM International School Venezia<\/strong><br><em>Via Adriano Olivetti, 1, 31056 Roncade (TV)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Across two days, students will explore STEM disciplines, innovation and future careers through talks, workshops and hands-on experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Friday, May 22 | Inspirational Talks<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The first day will feature a series of talks and meetings with researchers, professors, entrepreneurs and STEM professionals working in fields ranging from medicine and astrophysics to engineering, AI and renewable energy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among the guests:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Gaya Spolverato<\/strong> \u2013 Associate Professor &amp; Surgery Director at Padua Hospital<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Annalisa Abdel Azim<\/strong> \u2013 Co-founder &amp; CTO at Myconic; Researcher at Politecnico di Torino<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Valeria Agostino<\/strong> \u2013 Senior Researcher at IIT &amp; CSFT at Politecnico di Torino<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Chiara Gionco<\/strong> \u2013 Researcher at INRiM<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Gabriella De Lucia<\/strong> \u2013 Research Director at INAF Trieste<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Laura Carnielletto<\/strong> \u2013 Assistant Professor at Ca\u2019 Foscari University of Venice<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Marianna Benetti<\/strong> \u2013 Co-Founder &amp; CEO of Veil ENERGY<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>An opportunity for students to listen directly to professionals and researchers shaping the future of science and technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Saturday, May 23 | Hands-on STEM Workshops<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The second day will be entirely dedicated to practical workshops based on <em>learning by doing<\/em>, involving around 200 students from H-FARM schools, Nord Anglia Education schools and local public schools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students will take part in activities focused on:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>robotics and programming<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>chemistry and physics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>engineering and renewable energy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>biology and ecology<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>technology and scientific experimentation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The workshops are organised together with important partners such as the Italian Institute of Technology, Ca\u2019 Foscari University Venice and industry professionals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Overnight Stay at the H-FARM Campus<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To give students from Vicenza the opportunity to fully experience both days of the initiative, a limited number of overnight places will be available at the H-FARM Campus accommodation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Places are limited and will be allocated according to the order in which requests are received:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>15 places available for boys<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>6 places available for girls<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We encourage interested families to express their interest as soon as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An experience perfectly aligned with our vision of education: encouraging students to explore the future through curiosity, critical thinking and hands-on learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Families interested in requesting the overnight stay for their children are kindly asked to contact <strong><a>office.vi@h-is.com<\/a><\/strong><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are excited to share with our students and families an incredible opportunity organised by H-FARM International School: the second edition of Teens in STEM, a free event dedicated to students aged 10 to 14 \u2014 therefore open to students in PYP5 and MYP1-2-3.
