{"id":19366,"date":"2026-05-08T13:03:58","date_gmt":"2026-05-08T13:03:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.schoolnewsvicenza.h-farm.com\/?p=19366"},"modified":"2026-05-08T13:03:59","modified_gmt":"2026-05-08T13:03:59","slug":"meeting-the-author-pyp4-welcomes-cinzia-capitanio","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.schoolnewsvicenza.h-farm.com\/it\/meeting-the-author-pyp4-welcomes-cinzia-capitanio\/","title":{"rendered":"Meeting the Author: PYP4 Welcomes Cinzia Capitanio"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This week, our <strong>PYP4 students<\/strong> had the opportunity to meet author <strong>Cinzia Capitanio<\/strong> to discuss her book <em>\u201cUna bottiglia nell\u2019oceano\u201d<\/em>, which the class has been reading as part of their learning journey on migration and personal stories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The meeting was met with great enthusiasm by the students, who filled the session with thoughtful and curious questions. Together with the author, they explored not only the story itself, but also the historical research on Italian emigration that inspired the book, as well as Ms Capitanio\u2019s experience as both a writer and a teacher.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ms Capitanio was delighted to meet such an attentive and engaged class.
