We inform you that on Wednesday 18th March during the morning your classes will be going to the Teatro Comunale in Vicenza for the show “Opera Domani – Rigoletto. Il mistero del Teatro”, based on the opera Rigoletto by Giuseppe Verdi.
The main feature of Opera Domani is the active participation of the audience in the performance. Children and young people take part during the show by singing selected parts of the opera from their seats and performing simple movements, which are specially chosen and learned in the months leading up to the performance.
The initiative also actively involves teachers, raising awareness about the importance of music and opera education and providing them with appropriate tools to work on these themes in the classroom. Everything takes place in a spirit of play and interdisciplinary engagement.
The children will leave by private bus from school in the morning and return to school before lunch.
