Some visits leave a mark.
Others confirm a direction.
The IB Evaluation Visit (March 25–27) at H-FARM International School Vicenza did both.
Over three days, the Evaluation Team immersed themselves in the life of our school: visiting classrooms, speaking with teachers, engaging with students and connecting with families. What they found was not only a well-structured IB school, but a living, breathing community.
The feedback was clear and deeply meaningful. The visit was described as one of the most enjoyable and inspiring in the evaluators’ professional experience, highlighting the expertise of the leadership team, the passion and the commitment of our teachers, the warmth and authenticity of our students, and the genuine involvement of our families.
This result also confirms how deeply our school is aligned with the values of the International Baccalaureate: a commitment to inquiry-based learning, international-mindedness, critical thinking and the development of caring, responsible individuals. What emerged during the visit is not only adherence to a framework, but the ability to truly live these principles in everyday school life.
During the final reflection, Denise Michel, IB Chair and PYP Programme Leader, shared a collection of words that captured the essence of what the team experienced:
- Environment: excellent, friendly, futuristic, welcoming
- Culture: special, open-minded, flexible, meaningful
- Learning: fun, organized, engaging, inquiring
- From Parents: encouraging, human, active, complete
- From Students: creative, international, perfect, unique
These words are more than feedback. They are a reflection of a community that lives the IB values every day.
We extend our sincere thanks to the Evaluation Team:
PYP: Denise Michel, Sally Yassin,
MYP: Eif Phillips, Ivana Popa
DP: Elke Heinicke, Nazanin Nikanjam
A big round of applause also to the H-FARM International School Vicenza community.
This visit was not a finish line, but a powerful moment of reflection and growth.
Because at H-FARM International School Vicenza, learning is not only something we do.
It is something we live, together.
