Small gestures can have a powerful impact when they are driven by awareness and care.
Today our students took part in “Le Arance della Salute”, AIRC’s national fundraising initiative that supports research against cancer through the sale of Italian oranges, symbol of health, prevention and wellbeing.
Our MYP students played an active role by hosting a stand during school entry time and the morning break. They presented the initiative to families, teachers and staff, explaining how purchasing the oranges directly contributes to funding cancer research and supporting prevention programs.
At H-FARM International School, we believe that education also means learning how to contribute to the wellbeing of the wider community. Supporting AIRC, an institution with a fundamental role in cancer research and public health, reflects the values we aim to nurture in our students every day.
We are proud of our students’ commitment and grateful to everyone who supported the initiative.
