At H-FARM International School Vicenza, school is much more than a place of learning. It’s a living community, built on relationships, participation, and shared growth.
Within this space of connection and collaboration, the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) represents the beating heart of our school life. A group of parents and teachers who with enthusiasm and dedication, build bridges across cultures, languages, and generations, making our school a place where every family feels welcome, heard, and actively involved in a shared journey.
“Bridging Cultures, Strengthening Community” is not just a motto – it’s a mindset, the thread that connects everything the PTA envisions, promotes, and brings to life.
For the 2025–2026 school year, the PTA has outlined four key areas that fully reflect our identity as an international school:
- Inclusion and belonging, ensuring every family feels part of our school community.
- Connection with the local territory, nurturing dialogue and collaboration with local organizations, associations, and cultural institutions.
- Active participation of parents and students, fostering a school culture based on listening, trust, and mutual growth.
- Intercultural learning and exchange, turning diversity into a daily source of enrichment and learning.
This school year began with great enthusiasm: we proudly welcomed 70 new students from different countries and backgrounds, each bringing new energy and perspectives to our community.
The Welcome Families Event on October 17th was the first heartfelt embrace of the year — a warm occasion to meet, connect, and celebrate what it truly means to be part of the H-FARM family.
Autumn continued with the much-loved Halloween Celebration, a joyful tradition where children, parents, and teachers come together to celebrate creativity, imagination, and togetherness.
In the months ahead, the PTA will continue to enrich school life through a series of meaningful initiatives:
- In January, the Neurodiversity Appreciation Week, promoting empathy, awareness, and inclusion.
- In March, the eagerly awaited International Day & Cross-Cultural Language Exchange, a vibrant celebration of the languages and cultures that make our school unique.
- Throughout the year, Parent Workshops dedicated to Digital Mindfulness and Social-Emotional Learning, offering practical tools to support family wellbeing and connection.
- In April, two special highlights: the Community Charity Gala, and the Teacher & Admin Appreciation Week, our way to thank those who nurture our students’ growth every day.
- Finally, the Spring Fair will close the year in true H-FARM International School spirit – with color, joy, and an overwhelming sense of community.
Alongside these events, the PTA will continue to support Student Council projects and initiatives that promote a positive school culture. It will also collaborate with local organizations to provide our MYP and DP students with life skills experiences: from bike safety to CPR training and basic driving education.
The next PTA meeting will take place on Tuesday, November 4th, 2025, from 8:30 to 9:30 AM, coinciding with the school’s reopening day.
It will be a perfect moment to reconnect, share new ideas, and renew our collective commitment to building a school that is ever more inclusive, open, and united.
A special thank you to Mieke, Noelia, Fong, Chiara, Niamh, and Isaura – six extraordinary women who, with vision, kindness, and dedication, give shape and soul to our PTA.
Thanks to their commitment, our school is not only a place where learning happens, but a place where we grow together as individuals, as families, and as a community.
