Dear Families,
We’re pleased to share a meaningful initiative led by our DP1 students from the Environmental Systems and Societies (ESS) course, who have been working in partnership with the WWF Oasis of Casale Ponds “Alberto Carta”—a protected natural area located right here in Vicenza that plays a vital role in supporting local biodiversity and environmental education.
As part of this collaboration, the students have launched a crowdfunding campaign to raise funds for the donation of a three-eye composite optical microscope (valued at €270) to the Oasis. This scientific instrument will allow researchers to study microscopic aquatic organisms and support educational activities for students and visitors.
The goal is to raise €540, which would allow for the donation of two microscopes, amplifying the scientific and educational impact. Any amount raised beyond the first microscope will still be donated to WWF in support of their conservation efforts.
We warmly encourage the school community to support this project by contributing or helping spread the word. Every gesture of support—big or small—can make a real difference.

Thank you for supporting our students as they take action for sustainability, science, and community.
Warm regards,
The School Office
