DP1 Trip to Switzerland 1238 752 Sofia Sartori

From Monday June 1st to Sunday June 7th , our DP1 students will take part in an exciting CAS-based educational trip to Switzerland, organized in collaboration with the Nord Anglia Education Expeditions Team. During this unique experience, students will be accompanied by Mr Copard and Ms Sartori.

Set against the breathtaking scenery of the Swiss Alps, this journey has been designed to combine adventure, cultural exploration, collaboration, and personal growth, while offering students meaningful experiences connected to their CAS learning journey.

Throughout the week, students will have the opportunity to work and connect with peers from other Nord Anglia Education schools, strengthening teamwork skills and building new friendships in an international environment.

The programme includes a variety of memorable experiences, such as outdoor trekking adventures, including the well-known Tour de l’Argentine, giving students the chance to discover the beauty of the Alps firsthand. Students will also enjoy cultural experiences, including a visit to the charming village of Gruyère and an excursion to Glacier 3000, where they will observe a rapidly changing glacial environment and reflect on environmental challenges.

To complete the experience, students will also take part in guided behind-the-scenes visits to traditional Swiss cheese and chocolate factories, learning more about local culture and production traditions.

We are looking forward to an unforgettable week filled with learning, discovery, teamwork, and adventure.
