ISA Test 848 565 Sofia Sartori

In February, we will administer the International School Assessment (ISA) for MYP 1, MYP 3 and MYP5 students in the subject areas of Maths, English and Science. These assessments help us audit our curricula and determine possible learning gaps for the specific grade levels versus thousands of other international schools.

The results are purely so that we can improve as a school. These exams will not affect students’ grades nor will they determine course choices in the MYP or DP.

Students will take trial testing from 19th to 30th January while the official tests will be held from 2nd to 20th February 2026.

Students will be taking the Maths test during their Maths class, the English tests during their English classes and the Science test during their Science classes.

The tests assess students’ skills, such as thinking, reasoning and analysing. Therefore, there is no way that students can study or prepare specifically for the tests. With these tests we are looking for results which reflect the school’s performance against international expectations.

Please read the ISA Privacy Statement to parents and contact Ms Overy, Head of Programme MYP or Mr Pettinato, MYP Coordinator, with any questions or concerns.
